Why Bricks exists.

Bricks was started by Jacob Baagøe, a physiotherapist with fifteen years in clubs, academies and around the national team.

Find your solution

Every day he watched people struggle with the same three things: getting an overview of each talent, sharing information between club, school and national team, and creating the best possible conditions for the talents to develop. So he built Bricks.

In 2024 Nicolas Lundbye joined as co-founder. Together they raised the first investment and built the product and the team.

“Talents trained hard, and nobody could see how they developed. Not the coach, not the parents, not the talent. I could not buy the tool that would show it, so we built it.”

One profile for a whole career

Created once and theirs for a whole career. It follows them from club to school to national team, and everyone around them works in the same profile, each with their own window.

Development you can read

Training, load, sleep, wellbeing and dialogue in one place, so a season can be read instead of remembered. The hours the staff spend moving data by hand go back to the athletes.

Athletes who understand themselves

Nobody teaches a talent to read their own load, sleep and progress. We do. An athlete who understands why sleep matters, sleeps. That is the difference between training hard and developing.

Guiding principles.

Four things we hold to, because they are the reason organisations trust us with the data.

The athlete owns the data

Consent sits with the athlete, per organisation. Sharing stops being a legal negotiation and becomes a setting.

We get people to the decision faster

Bricks shows what is over the planned load and what has changed. It does not predict and it does not prescribe. The decision is yours, you just reach it a week earlier.

Less admin, more time with the players

Every hour spent moving numbers between systems is an hour nobody spent with a talent. We build to hand those hours back.

Better players come from the whole person

A talent is not a load number. Training, sleep, body and head belong in the same profile, because that is where development actually happens.

FAQ.

Short answers.

Why should we choose Bricks?

If your organisation is serious about developing its own talents, Bricks is built for you. Every talent gets one profile that follows them across teams, clubs and schools, and your staff get the whole picture on one screen. We are built for organisations focusing on developing talents, not the first team.

What results do you have?

More than 500 active athletes every week and more than 20 clubs, schools and federations in Denmark and Norway, from top-flight academies to sports boarding schools. Staff tell us the same thing: they finally see every talent, and they have more time with them.

What qualifies you to build this?

Bricks was started by a physiotherapist with fifteen years in Danish elite clubs, and it is co-owned by Christian Eriksen, Mathias Gidsel and Mikkel Hansen, who all wished they had it at sixteen. The team and the people behind us come from Netcompany, DTU, the University of Copenhagen, Manchester United, Barcelona, PSG and Inter.

We already have a system. Do we need to switch?

Not to get started. Bricks is about the talent’s development: wellbeing, load, injuries and progress over time, not tactics and match video. Run the game on what you have, and every talent on Bricks. In the first meeting we look at what you run today, and what Bricks can take over.

What does it cost?

You pay per athlete, and for the specialists who create professional content, like physiotherapists or mental coaches: programming, testing, medical records. Coaches, management and admins are always free and unlimited. The price per athlete falls as more of the organisation joins. We price your setup after the first meeting, and onboarding is free for standard setups.

Does it work for athletes under 18?

Yes, most of our athletes are under 18. Bricks is built to GDPR: data is encrypted in transit, access is controlled and logged, and the talent can see, move or delete their own data at any time.

Does it work for individual sports?

Yes. Tests, exercises and questions are set up per sport, so an academy in an individual sport uses it the same way a team academy does.
